I brought my cat back from a local animal hospital after getting him declawed. He is not doing well, or so I think. Of course, his paws are still painful, so he won't be as active as he was for awhile.
I accidentally overdosed the medicine to him... the nurse said I should give him two drops everyday, but how can you dose exactly two drops when the cat is constantly resisting? He seemed to be depressed as a side-effect of overdose, as the nurse mentioned.
He cannot jump, run, or even eat. He's been on my mom's duvet all day today. He usually slept with me on my bed, but he cannot jump on it. So, my sister decided to sleep with him on the ground.
I was very excited when I decided to get him declawed. My mom would finally love him, and I may be able to play with him more. We'd never have to worry about furniture damages... But, looking at him right now, I cannot feel any worse for him. Human must be the most evil specie in the animal kingdom...
It's been two years now, and my cat is active like nobody's business. Well, he's overweighted, so he pants every movement he makes.
He's a family.
